Adam Lister & Budmen Industries Release Geometric 'Hello Kitty' Limited Edition Collectible Figure
This is a limited-edition collectible vinyl statue of Hello Kitty, a collaboration between Budmen Industries and visual artist, Adam Lister.
Born in 1978, Adam Lister lives and works in Beacon, New York. He is known for his geometric take on famous paintings and pop culture icons. Lister explores the relationship of nostalgia and mathematics, taking on subjects that hold a collective familiarity and artistically reducing them to flat cubist-like compositions.
In collaboration with Lister, Budmen Industries dimensionalized his flat cubist Hello Kitty painting - turning it from 2D into 3D using CAD software and 3D printing.
The result: a vinyl pop figure of a cubist Hello Kitty.
